Dr. Neely Khan, MD, MS, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and the CEO of Neely Dermatology & Aesthetics in Washington, DC. She represents a new generation of medical leadership, where clinical excellence, strategic vision, and elevated patient experience converge across skin, hair, and nail health. Renowned for her precision, discernment, and deeply personalized approach to care, Dr. Neely practices at the intersection of science, artistry, and human connection. Education and Medical Training
Dr. Neely earned her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and earned both her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Science (MS) degrees from Georgetown University School of Medicine. During medical school, she completed a competitive research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, and after graduating, she pursued an internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Neely completed her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, one of the most diverse and clinically rigorous dermatology programs in the nation. This foundation shaped her commitment to excellence across all skin types, hair types, and patient populations.

Throughout her career, Dr. Neely has developed comprehensive expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, caring for patients of all ages. Her clinical focus includes facial rejuvenation, pigmentary disorders, hair and scalp disorders, nail disease, skin of color, regenerative aesthetics, and body contouring. Known for her ability to combine evidence-based medicine with an artistic eye, Dr. Neely designs individualized treatment strategies that honor each patient’s unique anatomy, biology, and goals, creating outcomes that feel authentic, elevated, and unmistakably natural.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Neely is a respected physician-leader in both local and national dermatologic communities. She serves on the Board of the DC Dermatologic Society and the Medical Society of DC, and is the Past President of the Georgetown Clinical Society. Nationally, she holds active roles in the Women’s Dermatologic Society and the Skin of Color Society, and is also an engaged member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). Her leadership and expertise have been recognized by peers, with honors including Washingtonian Top Doctor and Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
A passionate educator and mentor, Dr. Neely devotes significant time to guiding the next generation of physicians. She has mentored numerous pre-med undergraduates, gap-year students, medical students, and dermatology residents, helping shape their academic and professional paths
Dr. Neely founded Neely Dermatology & Aesthetics to offer a boutique, concierge-style experience where modern dermatology meets compassionate, individualized care. She believes in treating the whole person, not just the skin, and takes pride in serving a diverse and growing patient community in the heart of Washington, DC.
Outside of her headquarters on M St, Dr. Neely lives in the Georgetown neighborhood with her husband and two sons.
