At Neely Dermatology & Aesthetics, we use Jane, a secure, user-friendly platform that makes managing your care simple. Through the portal, you can view our availability, book appointments, complete intake forms, and access your aftercare instructions, all in one place.
This page will guide you through how to use Jane for your first visit and ongoing care.
When you schedule an appointment, you’ll receive a welcome email with a link to your Jane account.
- Activate your profile – Click the link in your welcome email to set up your username and password.
- Log in anytime – Once your account is created, you can log in from your phone, tablet, or computer to view upcoming appointments and complete required forms.
- Update your information – Keep your contact and payment details up to date directly within Jane. To book an appointment, we require a credit card on file for all patients.

Easily view your schedule, book a new appointment, or reschedule an existing one through Jane. Please note that changes made within 48 business hours of your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Choosing the Right Appointment
- Consultation (Recommended for New Patients): A consultation is ideal if this is your first visit. During this appointment, Dr. Neely will review your medical and cosmetic history, discuss your goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan. This ensures that any procedures or treatments are tailored specifically to your needs.
- Procedure: If you are ready to move forward with a treatment you’ve already discussed with Dr. Neely, you can schedule a procedure appointment. Please note that procedures typically follow a consultation unless otherwise directed.
How to Access and Complete Your Forms
Before your first appointment, we kindly ask all new patients to complete new patient forms:
- Patient Medical & Cosmetic History
- Policies and Procedures
If the forms do not appear in your portal, please contact our office so we can resend them.
Option 1: Access via Email Link (For New Patients)
- After your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email from Jane.
- Click the link in the email to access your secure Jane portal.
- Jane may ask you to confirm your email address or phone number.
- Complete all required forms and click Submit when finished.
Option 2: Access via Jane Patient Portal (If You Already Have an Account / Existing Patients)
- Log in to your Jane App patient portal.
- Go to “My Account.”
- Click “Intake Forms.” This is where you can view all the forms you’ve completed, signed, or still need to fill out.
To secure your appointment, a $100 deposit is collected at booking and applied to your visit. If you need to cancel or reschedule with less than 48 business hours’ notice, the deposit will serve as a cancellation fee.
Adding a Card on File
When filling out the “Policies and Procedures” form, you’ll be asked to put your card on file. This helps make transactions easier and allows us to collect your appointment deposit as agreed upon in your consent/intake form.
How to Add a Card
- Log In to the Jane App Patient Portal.
- Go to the “Credit Cards on File” Tab.
- Add a New Card.
- Click “Add New Card.”
- Enter your credit card information, then save.
Updating or Removing a Card
For security reasons, card updates or removals cannot be made directly by patients. If you’d like to use a different card, please reach out to our office, and we’ll be happy to assist.
Paying Your Balance
Option 1: Pay via Jane Patient Portal.
- Log In to the Jane Portal.
- Go to the “Pay Balance” Tab.
- Click the “Pay Balance” tab in the dashboard.
- This will show your outstanding bill or the amount you owe.
- Pay Your Balance.
- Enter your credit or debit card details.
- Click “Pay” to complete your payment.
Option 2: Pay via Email Link.
- If you are unable to pay during your appointment, we can send you an email through the Jane app.
- The email contains a secure link to pay your balance.
- Click the link, enter your card details, and complete the payment.
Receipts
Receipts & billing are emailed to you and stored in your Jane account.
Superbills
For your convenience, superbills can be requested during your appointment or via email, and we will send them to you via email following your visit.
After your appointment, we will send you aftercare instructions through Jane summarizing what was discussed and outlining any post-treatment guidance.
What if I forget my Jane password?
Click “Forgot your password?” on the login screen. You’ll receive an email with instructions to reset it.
Can I reschedule or cancel through Jane?
Yes, you can manage appointments directly through your account. Please note that cancellations made with less than 48 business hours’ notice will forfeit the $100 deposit.
Is my payment information secure in Jane?
Yes. Jane uses bank-level encryption and is fully HIPAA-compliant to ensure your information remains private and secure.
Can I access Jane from my phone?
Yes. Jane is mobile-friendly and works on smartphones, tablets, and computers.
What if I can’t find my intake forms?
Log in to your Jane account, and your forms will appear under “Upcoming Appointments.” You will also receive them by email after booking.
